Some of the links on this site earn a commission. If you follow one of them and buy something, the price you pay stays the same and a small share goes to Expat Blueprint. That includes the Audible trial mentioned in a few essays and, over time, a small number of services aimed at people moving abroad.

The uncomfortable part of any disclosure like this is the incentive it creates, so it is worth naming plainly. A commission gives a writer a reason to recommend things. The way we handle it is narrow: nothing is recommended here that would not be mentioned without the link, and no article is written because a programme pays well.

The workbooks

The paid workbooks are our own products, not affiliate offers. They are the main way the site funds itself, which is deliberate: it keeps the written guides free and reduces how much the site has to lean on advertising.

Advertising

Where display advertising appears, it is served by third parties and is not an endorsement. Our privacy policy explains what those partners can and cannot store, and the cookie banner lets you refuse the tracking part of it.
